The verdict
A flexible silicone red and near-infrared LED mask with simple 10-minute sessions; the Series 3 has since taken the flagship slot.
The Series 2 is CurrentBody's FDA-cleared flexible silicone LED mask, with 236 LEDs across red (633 nm), near-infrared (830 nm) and deep near-infrared (1072 nm) and a single 10-minute anti-aging program. Reviewers praise the one-button sessions, the clip-on controller and fuller coverage than the first version. Fit takes some adjustment, and there is one preset only. CurrentBody now also sells the app-controlled Series 3 at a higher price.

How it scored
Five factors, weighted for tools and devices. Here’s our working.
Tool score out of 10. Brands can’t pay for placement — ever.
Uses red and near-infrared wavelengths at a stated 30 mW/cm², and Tech Advisor's tester reported plumper skin after two weeks and softer fine lines and more even tone after four.
Flexible liquid silicone with a chin strap and a Veritace NFC card documenting per-LED testing, though no warranty term is stated on the product page.
One button starts a 10-minute session that switches off on its own, and the clip-on controller lets users move around, but fit and strap adjustment take some getting used to.
At $469.99 it costs more than the $395 Omnilux Contour Face and now sits below the newer, pricier Series 3, so value depends on wanting an established mask rather than the latest model.
One of the most-reviewed LED masks on YouTube, including several one-year follow-up reviews and comparisons with the newer Series 3.

FAQ
The Series 2 has 236 LEDs in three red and near-infrared wavelengths and one anti-aging preset. The Series 3, sold alongside it at a higher price, adds blue, green and yellow light, four presets and app-based customization.
CurrentBody recommends a 10-minute session 3–5 times a week for 8 weeks. The mask turns off automatically when the session ends.
The brand's spec sheet does not list battery life. Geeky Posh reported around 10–15 uses per full charge, and Tech Advisor went three weeks of thrice-weekly use between charges.
CurrentBody describes the Series 2 as FDA cleared on its product page. As with any LED device, it is meant for cosmetic concerns such as fine lines, not for treating skin disease.
