The verdict
NuFACE's flagship FDA-cleared microcurrent device: visible same-day lift that lasts only with near-daily, five-minute sessions.
The TRINITY+ is NuFACE's most comprehensive handheld microcurrent device, with three modes, a Boost button that adds up to 25% more current and swappable attachments for the eyes, lips and red-light treatment. Reviewers at T3, Who What Wear and mindbodygreen describe an immediate lift around the cheeks and jaw that fades without regular use. It suits patient users who will commit to five minutes a day. At $395, plus conductive gel refills, it is a significant investment.

How it scored
Five factors, weighted for tools and devices. Here’s our working.
Tool score out of 10. Brands can’t pay for placement — ever.
T3 and Who What Wear describe visible same-day lift and softer forehead lines, but both, along with mindbodygreen, call the effect temporary without ongoing use.
A solid handheld with interchangeable attachments, USB-C charging and a 2-year warranty, from a brand that says it was the first beauty-device company to receive FDA clearance.
Needs a mask-like layer of gel and a daily 5-minute routine for the first 60 days, which Who What Wear likens to a gym membership that only pays off with regular use.
$395 for the starter kit, with $160 add-on attachments and ongoing gel costs, is expensive for results that fade when use stops.
mindbodygreen calls NuFACE's tools some of the most famous microcurrent devices on the market, and longtime users such as Fifty Plus Beauty report years of use, though the time commitment comes up repeatedly.

The nuFace Trinity+ is an effective hand-held beauty tool that uses microcurrent technology to penetrate through your skin down to your muscles to produce visible firming results with regular treatments.
While the results were short-lived, the lines on my forehead softened in the days afterwards.
In all honesty, NuFace feels like a luxury gym membership. It's only worthwhile if you go regularly; otherwise, it may feel like a lot of money down the drain.

FAQ
NuFACE recommends at least 5 minutes a day, 5 times a week for the first 60 days, then 2–3 times a week to maintain results. Reviewers say results fade if use stops.
Yes. Microcurrent needs a conductive layer, and NuFACE directs users to apply a mask-like layer of Microcurrent Activator before each session. The starter kit includes Aqua Gel and Silk Créme activators.
The $395 Starter Kit includes the TRINITY+ device, two activators, an applicator brush and a USB-C cable. NuFACE also sells a $595 Complete Set and bundles with the Lip & Eye or Red Light attachments, which cost $160 each on their own.
NuFACE says the Boost button amplifies microcurrent by 25% with the Facial Trainer and Effective Lip & Eye attachments, but does not change the power of the Wrinkle Reducer red-light attachment.
