The verdict
A cordless, hands-free red and blue LED mask built around 3-minute sessions; comfortable and quick, but pricey with a 1-year warranty.
The DRx SpectraLite FaceWare Pro is Dr. Dennis Gross's full-face LED mask, with 100 red and 60 blue lights in red, blue or combined modes and an automatic 3-minute shut-off. It is cordless and hands-free, held on by a detachable silicone strap. T3 gave it five stars for fit, comfort and results on acne and firmness, and long-term creator reviews span five months to five years. It costs $455 with a 1-year warranty, and its FDA clearance is a brand statement rather than a 510(k) listed under the brand's name.

How it scored
Five factors, weighted for tools and devices. Here’s our working.
Tool score out of 10. Brands can’t pay for placement — ever.
T3's reviewer saw hormonal acne stay under control and firmer, smoother skin after six weeks of daily use, though some creator videos, such as Cleo Lyn's 60-day experiment, signal disappointing results.
A hard shell lined with cushioning silicone that T3 found close-fitting and light for a cordless mask, but the warranty is only one year.
Sessions last 3 minutes with automatic shut-off and one button, and the cordless design lets users move around while it runs.
At $455 it costs more than the $349.99 Shark CryoGlow and $395 Omnilux Contour Face, and T3 says the price alone tempted it to dock a point.
Launched in 2020, it has one-year and five-year creator reviews and a five-star T3 verdict, alongside less glowing takes such as Cleo Lyn's "you won't like the results" experiment.

Comprised of a hard-shell exterior and a cushioning layer of silicone on the inside, this mask fits like a dream, gently hugs every contour of my face, and even manages to somehow accommodate my prominent nose.
I was a little concerned at first that the device doesn't feature any eye protection in the form of goggles or eye cups, but it fits so well, I think there's less chance of light escaping.
For the price alone, I wanted to knock a point off in protest.

FAQ
Dr. Dennis Gross describes it as FDA-cleared on its product page but does not publish a 510(k) number, and FDA's 510(k) database lists no clearance under the Dr. Dennis Gross name. Treat the clearance as a brand statement.
Three minutes. The brand says the mask shuts off automatically after the programmed 3-minute session and recommends daily use, with results expected in four to six weeks, according to T3's review.
Three: red light for wrinkles and firmness, blue light for acne, and red and blue together for both concerns. The brand lists 100 red lights and 60 blue lights.
T3's review says a fully charged mask delivers 8 to 10 treatments. It charges with the included USB cord and charging block.
