The verdict
A mildly acidic micro-foam wash with hyaluronic acid and panthenol that many sensitive-skin users love, though some find it tightening.
Round Lab's 1025 Dokdo Cleanser is a mildly acidic foaming face wash with Ulleungdo deep-sea water, three forms of hyaluronic acid, panthenol, allantoin and ceramide NP, which the brand says cleanses without stripping moisture. It is a fixture of K-beauty routines, and many Reddit users with sensitive skin call it gentle and non-stripping. A vocal minority with dry skin finds it tight-feeling, so very dry skin may prefer a milk cleanser.

How it scored
Five factors, weighted for formulas. Here’s our working.
Beauty score out of 10. Brands can’t pay for placement — ever.
Reddit users with sensitive skin frequently say it cleans well without stripping, but several with dry skin report tightness after washing.
Mild isethionate, taurate and glycinate surfactants with hyaluronic acid, panthenol, allantoin and ceramide NP make a gentle low-pH base, though Ulta’s ingredient list also includes chamomile flower oil.
Users like the soft micro-foam that rinses clean, while one disliked its soapy smell and others feel tight afterwards.
At $14.99 for 5.07 fl oz at Ulta it costs more per ounce than CeraVe or Vanicream but less than most prestige foaming cleansers.
A frequent recommendation in r/AsianBeauty and r/KoreanBeauty and in creator K-beauty cleanser roundups, with a real minority who find it stripping.

best regular cleanser is round lab 1025 dokdo cleanser. I react to most cleansers, even one designed for sensitive skin such as cerave, so this cleanser is truly life changing for me. And I don’t feel dried out and tight after which was a first for me too.
I've had a good experience with the round lab dokdo cleanser. It cleans well without leaving my skin feeling stripped.
I like Round Lab dokdo cleanser or Haru Haru Wonder soft cleansing gel. I tried quite a few and found these the most gentle. … The Round Lab emulsifies into more of a milk than a foam.
The round lab dokdo cleanser is a really good choice. Try the milky cleanser version in it if the og cleanser is too stripping for you.
I actually tried the dokdo cleanser because it's been recommended somewhere for people with dry sensitive skin and couldn't finish it, it had a soapy smell and my skin skin felt awfully tight after.

FAQ
Many Reddit users with dry or sensitive skin find it gentle, but others say it leaves their skin tight. One r/KoreanBeauty user suggests Round Lab's milkier Dokdo cleanser if the original feels too stripping.
Round Lab says its micro-foam lifts impurities, makeup residue and ultra-fine dust. It is a foaming face wash rather than a dedicated makeup remover, so users commonly pair it with a cleansing oil first.
The ingredient list on Ulta's page shows no added fragrance or parfum, but it does include chamomile flower oil, and at least one Reddit user mentions a soapy smell.
Round Lab describes the formula as mildly acidic and close to skin's natural pH, which it says helps balance oil and moisture. It does not publish an exact pH on the pages reviewed.
